Delete Your Account

You can delete your Sleepy Moon account at any time, from the app or by asking us.

Delete it in the app

Open Sleepy Moon and go to the Profile tab.
Tap your name under You to open Edit Profile.
Tap Delete account at the bottom.
If you look after a family, choose who takes over. Then review what happens and tap Delete my account.

Grandparents and other family members who joined with an invite code can delete their account the same way, from Edit Profile.

Ask us to delete it

If you can't use the app, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Sleepy Moon account". Send it from the email address on your account, or tell us that address and the name of your family so we can find it. We'll confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your sign-in, name, email address and profile photo.
Your membership in every family, your device notification tokens and your app credits.
Any family where nobody else is a member, including its recordings, playlists and cover images.

What stays with your family

Stories and songs you recorded for a family that still has other members stay with that family, shown as from a former member.
If you look after a family, the person you choose takes over managing it.
